Chamber Readies for Busy Summer

The summer tourist season is right around the corner, and the Cody Chamber of Commerce is leading the community in preparing business owners to have a profitable year.
Chamber Director Tina Hoebelheinrich says that their organization is hosting several events to kick off the 2019 tourist season next month, as well as offering free training to its members in how to capitalize on social media.
Hoebelheinrich says that much of the training they are offering for their members revolves around customer service – including the upcoming Recommend Cody Tours, which will be offered May 15 and 16.
The Chamber will be hosting their annual “Parks and Pancakes” breakfast on May 3rd, which is the scheduled opening day for the East Entrance to Yellowstone National Park. Additionally, Hoebelheinrich says the Chamber’s Events Committee will be putting together a celebration around the annual Wild Horse sale that will be in front of the Irma Hotel the second weekend in May.
