Check Website for YNP Road Closures

High elevation snow caused some road closures in Yellowstone this weekend.
The road from Norris to Canyon and Dunraven Pass were closed temporarily on Friday, although the Park’s website shows they have re-opened since then. There is still road construction between Norris and Canyon, so one-way traffic is in place there. Virginia Cascades Drive will be closed through the 16th, as well – and beginning next Monday, the full closure of Fishing Bridge will take place to begin the major reconstruction of that bridge and one other on the East Entrance road.
Park Officials point out that anyone planning to visit Yellowstone should go to the “Plan Your Visit” tab on their web page for more up to date information.
