City of Cody Selling Surplus Equipment in Online Auction

If any Cody residents are looking for a deal on a city-owned vehicle or business equipment, an online auction might be your best bid for a great deal.
The City of Cody is holding an online auction for a variety of surplus equipment. The website Public Surplus is hosting the city’s public auction for three weeks.
A partial list of City of Cody items up for auction includes:
- 2007 Ford F-150 super crew truck
- 2009 Chevrolet Impala
- 1996 Ford F-250
- 2011 Freightliner (with packer)
- 2000 Freightliner (without packer)
- 2009 Freightliner (with packer)
The online auction begins on Thursday, June 24. It will continue until 5 p.m. on July 12. As of Wednesday, June 23, the items have yet to be posted on the City of Cody’s Public Surplus webpage.
The City of Cody reserves the right to remove any item from the auction or cancel the auction in its entirety at any time before the scheduled auction end without prior notice. Some items up for auction may have a reserve or require a minimum bid from a serious buyer.
