Cloudy Water Not a Concern

Questions have been coming in to the Northwest Rural Water office in the past few days regarding cloudy water coming out of the taps in the Lovell area– but officials at the utility say there’s nothing to be concerned about.
Manager Mike Mackey says that the cream-colored water is simply water that has extra air in it, and will settle out if the water is left to stand for a few minutes. He says that the unusual situation has been caused by a line relocation that’s tied to a WYDOT bridge project near Lovell.
Mackey says that the issue should resolve itself by early this week – but if anyone has questions or further concerns, they can contact the Northwest Rural Water office at 527-4426.
