Cody and Area College Athletics Weekend Schedule

Taking a look at this week’s sports schedule for Cody and area college athletics.

Obviously, everything at this point is weather permitting.

We’ll start off with a look at all the action that will air live on KODI.

The last Cody Basketball games of the regular season will take place, on Friday, as both teams play host to Riverton. Friday is also senior night for the Cody Basketball teams. The girls will take to the hardwood first with tip-off set for 6pm. The Boys game will follow.

In the college ranks…

Thursday- The Wyoming Cowgirls will play host to the University of Nevada. Pregame at 6pm, tip-off at 6:30.

Saturday- The Wyoming Cowgirls are back in action as they take on Colorado State. Tip-off at 7:30, pregame at 7pm.

As for the rest of the sports happening this weekend.

The Cody Wrestling teams will be in Casper for the State Tournament. The State Tourney takes place at the Ford Wyoming Center where the Broncs will be competing Friday and Saturday. Ashton Hubbs will take part in the 3A girls State Championship Tournament all day Thursday.

The Nordic Ski teams will be in Jackson for their State Tournament, this weekend. The 5K Classic is set for Friday with the 10K Skate scheduled for Saturday.

The Cody Indoor Track teams are back in action this week. They head back to Gillette for the Shridan Invite which will take place at Campbell County High School.

In some other high school basketball action, Classes 1A and 2A will be competing in their respective regional tournaments all weekend.

The Yellowstone Quake Hockey team will close out the month of February on the road as they travel East, to face Sheridan. Both games, Friday and Saturday, are scheduled for a 7:30pm start.

The Yellowstone Yeti High School Hockey teams regular season has come to a close as they finished the year 9-9-2. Now they get set for State Hockey at the B-Level, in Laramie this weekend. All the action begins Friday at 1:15pm.

As for the rest of the college action…

Both Northwest College Basketball teams will be on the road this week.

On Thursday, both teams travel to Cheyenne to face Laramie County Community College. Women to tip-off at 5:30, men to follow.

On Friday, both teams will be in Riverton to face Central Wyoming College. Women, again, to tip-off at 5:30 with the men to follow.
