Cody Basketball Primed for Postseason Play

Post-season play has arrived for the Cody Basketball teams. Both the Broncs and Fillies will be in Afton Wyoming all weekend for the Class 4A West Regional Tournament at Star Valley High School. The Fillies enter the tourney coming off another record breaking regular season where they finished 19-0. The Fillies will be the No. 1 seed at the Regional Tourney. With the playoffs set I caught up with Head Coach Chris Wagner for a little preview.
As for the Broncs, they enter the Regional Tournament as the No. 2 Seed out of the Northwest Quad. The Broncs finished the regular season with an 11-8 overall record, 4-2 in league play. They are riding a 7-game win streak into the postseason. I was also able to catch up with Head Coach Jay McCarten for a little preview.
The Cody Basketball teams will be competing in t he Class 4A West Regional Tournament all weekend at Star Valley High School in Afton. The Tournament takes place Thursday through Saturday. All of Cody’s games will be broadcast live on KODI. For a full schedule click below:
