The Cody Basketball teams would close out the regular season, Friday night, as they played host to Riverton. Friday was Senior night for Cody and it was one special night.
The Fillies would come away with the 75-16 victory.
The Fillies finish the regular season a perfect 19-0. That’s back-to-back years that the Fillies finish the regular season undefeated. With the win, the Fillies have now won 40 straight regular season games dating back to the 2020-21 season.
All 6 of the seniors would start for the Fillies as Brindi Brittain was an honorary starter, being named with the starting five as they were introduced pre-game.
The Fillies would jump out to an early lead and never looked back as they built an early 22-6 after one quarter and extended the lead to 41-12 at the half.
And the rout was on as they had a 58-16 lead after 3.
It was another monstrous win for the Fillies who were led by Kennedi Niemann with 17 points, a game high.
Ally Boysen, Victory Buck and Molly Hays each dropped in 14 a-piece. Buck had 10 straight points to open the fourth quarter.
Reece Niemann added 7 while Ellie Talich had 3. Brindi sank a pair of 3-pointers that got the crowd on their feet.
Jessa Lynn added several steals and rebounds.

All 5 seniors would start for the Broncs as Robby Porter and Michael Boyd were included in the starting line-ups.
The Broncs and Wolverines would brawl inside Sweitzer as the Broncs carried a 2-point lead into the intermission, 21-19.
This one, like the previous 2 games, would go down to the wire as Riverton tied it up at 42 all, with 4 seconds on the clock to send it to overtime.
The Broncs would win the OT period as Luke Talich and Grady McCarten knocked down 5 of the 6 free throws they shot.
Leading the way for the Broncs was Kam Niemann with 17 points.
With the win, the Broncs finish the regular season 11-8 overall, 4-2 in conference play and are riding a 7-game win streak.
