Cody Bronc Swim 5th at State, Ties for Best Mark in 46 years

The 2023 Class 3A Bosy Swim and Dive State Championships came to a close on Friday.
The Cody Broncs would come home with a 5th place finish. According to the Cody Swim and Dive Facebook page, the 5th place finish is tied for the highest ever finish that Cody has seen (that we can find) when Cody tied for 5th at the State in 1977…. 46 years ago…
Joseph Killpack would claim the State Title in the 100 Backstroke with a time of 52.08.
He also set a new school record in the 200 IM with a time of 2:01.12.
The 200 Medley Relay team of Killpack, Bradley McKenzie, Jonah Woods and Myles Bailey set a new school record with a time of 1:42.63.
