Cody City Hall Isn’t Closed – But You’ll Need to Use the Back Door

The parking lot entrance will be closed throughout March 2023 for some remodeling inside – but City Hall and its staff will be entirely accessible for the duration.
City of Cody Finance Officer Leslie Brummage announced that the main entrance to City Hall – 1338 Rumsey Avenue, adjacent to the parking lot – will be closed starting March 6. New carpeting is being installed, and workstations inside City Hall are being remodeled.
Anyone looking to step into City Hall must use the other entrance – 1008 13th Street. However, the building will be completely accessible during this period, and telephone and other services won’t be affected by the closure.
However, it’s not a “complete” closure. The main entrance of City Hall will be open for meetings held in the City Council Chambers. But only then.
