The Cody Cubs returned to action Wednesday as they played host to the Casper Drillers for a non-conference affair.
On a night where the Cubs honored their former coach, the Hall of Famer, Bart Grenz the Cubs would come away with a sweep of the Drillers.
Cody won game 1 by a final of 10-5 and took game 2 by a final of 9-1.

The Cubs then took to the diamond for the nightcap.
Trey Thomasson would continue his stellar pitching going the Complete Game while giving up 1 run on 1 hit and struck out 10. Thomasson picked up his 6th win of the season.
Casper would strike first in this one but Cody respond quickly.
