Cody Fillies and Broncs Lose First Basketball Games

The Fillies and the Broncs both had their first had their first regular season basketball games against St. Thomas More today in Gillette, WY where both teams were unable to find the win.
The Fillies ended up losing 49-29 with the leading scorer for the Fillies being Molly Hays and Ally Boyson both with six points.
The girls were able to keep it close in the first half only being down 17-24 but were unable to swing the momentum their way getting outscored in the 3rd 5-10.
The Broncs lost their game against 28-61 with No. 13 Kam Niemann being the leading scorer with eight points.
It was not a pretty first half for the Broncs with them only being able to put seven points on the board.
The St. Thomas More boys squad was feeling it from deep nailing seven threes.
Both the Fillies and Broncs will stay in Gillette for the night to play another double header starting at noon against Scottsbluff, NE.
