Cody Fillies Cap Off Perfect Season with State Championship

The Cody Fillies are the 2022-23 Class 4A Girls State Basketball Champions!
The Fillies knock off Thunder Basin in the title game by a final score of 65-53
This is the first State Championship in the history of Cody High School Girls basketball.
The Fillies officially finish this season with a perfect 25-0 record.
Molly Hays led the way with 23 points. Reece Niemann added 14 and Ally Boysen had 11.

This Senior class goes out on top as one of the best groups to ever do it.
And this team could go down as the best team in Cody Filly basketball history.
When this senior class was freshmen, we saw what they could become.
Kennedi and Reece Niemann along with Jessa Lynn and Ally Boysen have been here from the beginning. Throw in Victory Buck and add Junior Molly Hays and this team has been darn near unbeatable.
In the last 3 years the Fillies have a combined 67-7 overall record, they’re 49-1 in the last 2 seasons.
They’ve played in 3 State Championships.
They are back-to-back Regional Tournament and Regular Season Champions.
