Cody Fillies Softball Sweeps Rock Springs, Now 8-0

The Cody Fillies Softball team was back in action Tuesday as they played host to Rock Springs for an afternoon matinee.
The bats were on fire in game 1 as the Fillies won 20-4.
After a scoreless first, the Fillies poured in 9 runs in the 2nd inning.
Rock Springs responded with 4 of their own in the 3rd but the Fillies weren’t done.
In the bottom of the 3rd both Ava and Violet Wollschlager as well as Riley Simone all hit home runs to power the Fillies to an 11-run 3rd and that sealed the game.
Both teams would then play a second game, this one was a non-conference affair.
Nevertheless, the Fillies would keep the momentum rolling as they got another big win, this time a 12-7 victory.
Following all the action, Cody Softball is now 8-0 on the season.
