Green River would not back down as both teams played an even 3rd quarter but the Fillies big opening lead was to much to overcome as they hung on for the win.

On Friday, the Fillies would square off with Kelly Walsh for the 3rd time this season. As they say, it’s hard to beat a team 3 times in one season but the Fillies proved otherwise.
They dropped in 30 first quarter points en-route to the 71-35 victory.
KW would punch Cody in the mouth in that 2nd frame, outscoring the Fillies 17-11 in the 2nd quarter. The Fillies took that personally.
The Lady Trojans would only score 9 points in the 2nd half…. It was a physical, contested contest and the Fillies showed they can play that kind of game if needed.
Molly Hays had 20 to lead the way in that one. Ally Boysen added 17 while battling foul trouble all game. Kennedi Niemann had 14.
