Cody Filly Softball Team Gearing up for Stretch Run

The Cody Filly Softball team is putting together another impressive season as they stand at 12-2 with just a few weeks remaining in the 2023 campaign. They are once again the top team in the West and look to solidify the No. 1 see for State over the last couple of weeks. As the Fillies get set for the stretch run I had the pleasure of catching up with Head Coach Chad Smith to analyze the season. Coach Smith on a quick overview of what’s working best for this team.
It’s hard to believe but we are down to the final few weeks of the season.
The Fillies will be on the road the rest of the year.
They take on Rock Springs, Friday.
Saturday, they’re over at Green River.
On Tuesday May 9th, they’ll head over to Gillette to face Thunder Basin before closing out the regular season against Worland on the 13th.
State begins May 18th in Gillette.
