Cody Indoor Track Teams Make Season Debut in Gillette

The Cody Indoor Track teams officially began their season over the weekend as they were in Gillette for the Campbell County Invite.

After last week’s invite at Casper was canceled, Cody was eager to get going.

No team scores were given.

We’ll take a look at the top individual performances.

Starting on the girls side. (Looking at top 10 finishes):

400M- Ada Nelson 1^st and Keira Jackson 9^h.

800 Meter Run- Kylie Silva 7^th.

1600 Meter Run- Taylen Stinson 2^nd. Mercedes Jackson 6^th.

55 Meter Hurdles- Ava Meier 5^th.

4×200 Meter Relay- Cody was 6^th.

4×800 Meter Relay- Cody was 1^st.

1600 Sprint Medley Relay- Cody was 2^nd.

High Jump- Kenzie Ratcliff 2^nd, Alessandra Broussard 10^th.

Pole Vault- Emileigh Dalton 5^th, Isabelle Paddock 6^th and Kelsey Pomajzl 7^th.

Long Jump- Alessandra Broussard 4^th.

Shot Put- Laura Phillips 8^th.

And now moving over to the boys side (looking at top 10 finishes):

800 Meter Run- Riley Nielson 4^th and Ben Stewart 10^th.

1600 Meter Run- Riley Nielson 5^th and Ben Stewart 8^th.

55 Meter Hurdles- Graidin Arnold 8^th.

4×200 Relay- Cody was 8^th

1600 Sprint Medley- Cody was 4^th

High Jump- Ben Hogan 9^th

Pole Vault- Kaden Clark 6^th

Long Jump- Jacob Ball 4^th and Kaden Clark 7^th

Shot Put- Keegan Hensley 5^th

Cody Indoor track team is back in action Friday February 3^rd back in Gillette at Thunder Basin.
