Cody Middle School Wrestlers First Again, in Worland

The Cody Middle School team continues to roll through the season. In their most recent tournament they took first place down in Worland. They’ve now participated in four events and have won all four. In the Worland tourney, the middle schoolers would put up a whopping 209.5 points, the next closest team was Thermopolis with 121.5.

Coach Rodney Miears comments on the performance saying “Another Bighorn Basin battle for the Cody Middle School Wrestling team and another championship performance. The Broncs grappled hard earning a 1st place finish as a team while missing some key wrestlers. Bobby Hernandez started things off with a pin and everyone followed suit. With a strong 8th grade class, they are experienced and ready for the challenge. Next weekend the Broncs look forward continuing that success as we travel to the treasure state.”
