Week 3

This weekend Cody competed against some larger, more experienced teams and still brought home the gold!  The Cody Middle School wrestling team is on a roll so far this season, placing first place in the first three tournaments of the season.  The team features a talented eighth grade crew and a hand full of seventh and sixth graders who love to scrap.

The boys are excited for practice every day and are enjoying the season!

The ole Cody Middle School wrestling team is off to a great start of the season.   With tournaments back in play this year, wrestlers were able to get more matches in one weekend than last year.  Getting the Broncs started off was Syrus Bates.  He was our first match of the season and earned a win by fall.  Syrus started off with a nice sprawl from his opponents shot and then finished with a sweet head-steal.  It was pleasing to see our first wrestling match of the season incorporating moves we drill in practice!
