The Cody Broncs coming off the heels of their Big Horn Brawl victory are the new number 2 ranked team in the latest WyoPreps Coaches and Media Football poll.
There’s a change in guard in four of the five classifications in the latest rankings revealed.
In Class 3A, the Jackson Broncs reclaim the top spot after their 21-14 win over Star Valley who holds at number 4. Cody is up to number 2 with Powell falling from 1 to 3.
In Class 2A, Mountain View holds firm to the top spot with Torrington now the number 2 team. Big Piney comes in at number 3 followed by Upton-Sundance and Lyman.
In Class 1A 9-Man, there is no change. Southeast is the number 1 team followed by Rocky Mountain, Lusk, Shoshoni and Lingle-Fort Laramie.
And in the 6-Man ranks, Meeteetse makes their debut as a top-five team. The Longhorns are tied at number 3 in the ranking with Encampment. Those two teams play one another this weekend. Farson-Eden is number 1 with Kaycee second. Dubois number number 5.
