NIC TALICH RAN FOR A TOUCHDOWN, MATT SANDOVAL RETURNED AN INTERCEPTION FOR A TOUCHDOWN AND THE CODY BRONCS SCRAPED BY GREEN REIVER FRIDAY NIGHT 17-10.
GREEN RIVER WOULD GET ON THE BOARD FIRST SCORING FROM 39 YARDS OUT BUT THE BRONCS WOULD SOON ANSWER AND IN TURN SCORED 10 UNANSWERED POINTS TO LEAD 10-7 AT THE HALF.
KEY DEFENSIVE STOPS WERE THE STORY IN THE SECOND HALF AS THE WOLVES HAD THE BALL IN THE RED ZONE ON BACK-TO-BACK POSSESSIONS BUT ONLY MANAGED THREE POINTS AND THE GAME WASS TIED AT 10 AFTER THREE QUARTERS.
THE BRONCS BULLIED THE WOLVES IN THE FOURTH QUARTER AND NIC TALICH WOULD FIND THE END ZONE TO SEAL THE DEAL FOR CODY.
FRIDAY NIGHT’S REGULAR SEASON FINALE SAW A GAME WHERE BOTH TEAMS COMBINED TO HAVE EIGHT TURNOVERS.
WITH THE WIN CODY NOW GETS SET FOR POSTSEASON PLAY. IN THE FIRST ROUND OF THE PLAYOFFS THEY WILL HOST THE WORLAND WARRIORS AT SPIKE VANNOY STADIUM ON FRIDAY.
