Cody Ski Teams Perform Admirably this Weekend

The Cody Alpine Ski teams were in Casper for the Bruce Studer Memorial Invite last Thursday and Friday.
Starting off with a look at the Slalom results.
Cody had three Fillies place in the top 10 with Allie Broussard leading the way, placing 4th individually. Catherine Lovera was 7th while Kik Hayano was 9th.
Aspen Kalkowski would finish 23rd while Gill Growney was 26th.
As a team, the Fillies were in 3rd place after day 1.
The Broncs had four skiers finish in the top 20 in the slalom. Sterling Banks led the way in 4th with Logan Ross 8th, Ryan Decker 13th and Joren Vipperman 20th.
The Broncs were in 3rd as well after day 1.
As for the Giant Slalom, due to Mountain conditions, only one race was completed so we are still awaiting team results.
The Fillies had five skiers finish in the top 20, led by Aspen Kalkowski finishing 5th. Allie Broussard was 8th with Kik Hayano 10th, Gill Growney 14th and Catherine Lovera 17th.
The Broncs had four skiers in the top 20 with Logan Ross finishing 9th to lead the way. Sterling Banks was 11th with Ryan Decker 12th and Aidan Gallagher 20th.
Meanwhile, the Cody Nordic Skiers were taking part in the Laramie invite this weekend.
Elisa Wachob led the way for the Fillies in both the Freestyle and Classic races finishing in 16th in the Free and 18th in the Classic.
Marshall Brookins would lead the way for the Broncs in both the Freestyle and Classic races, finishing 3rd in the Classic and 20th in the Free.
