Cody Soccer, Softball and Track Spring Sports Schedules

The High School Spring Sports season is officially underway. Today marks the first day that all of Cody’s Spring Sports teams will be in action.

Today, I’ll be taking a look at each teams schedule and key dates you should be aware of.

First up, Softball.

The Filly Softball team will be in Cheyenne all weekend to begin their season.

Filly Softball has a total of 5 home games this season.

Their first home games of the season comes March 31^st and April 1^st when they’ll play host to Green River and Rock Springs.

May 18^th is the first day of the State Tournament which will take place at Campbell County High School in Gillette.

Now for Track and Field.

The Broncs and Fillies were supposed to begin their season today with the Cody invite but that meet has been canceled.

So that means the outdoor track teams wont officially compete until April 1^st when they travel to Buffalo for the Jerry Campbell Invite.

The Track teams will host just one other regular season meet this year and that is their Cody Trackstravaganza, May 4^th.

The Broncs and Fillies will play host to the 4A West Regional Meet May 12^th and 13^th.

State is scheduled for May 18^th through the 20^th at Casper Kelly Walsh.

And now for the Soccer teams.

Both the Bronc and Filly Soccer teams will open their season this weekend with a pair of home matches.

Today they host Pinedale with the girls at 2pm, boys to follow.

Tomorrow, they host Sheridan with the girls at 12 noon, boys to follow.

The first Park County Rivalry game with Powell will be April 4^th in Cody.

Both teams have 7 home games throughout the season.

The 3A State Tournament will be in Green River May 18^th through the 20^th.
