Cody Soccer Splits with Powell in Park County Rivalry

The Cody Soccer teams would return to action Wednesday as they played host to their Park County Rivals, Powell.
This was the first time this season that the Park County Rivals would meet on the pitch.
The Fillies would keep the good times rolling with a 7-2 victory.
Ally Boysen would score the first goal of the game just 50 seconds into the contest and that set the tone for the entire match.
Cody took a 3-1 lead into the halftime break.
Powell would score the first goal of the second half to cut the lead 3-2. From then on it was all Cody.
The Fillies scored the final 4 goals of the game en route to the victory.
In the second of the double header the Broncs would then take to the pitch vs. the Panthers.
The Broncs would lose is a close one as the Panthers snatched away a 2-1 win.
Powell lead this one wire-to-wire.
The Broncs attempt to amount a comeback scoring a goal late but just ran out of time.
Following all the action the Fillies remain undefeated 5-0 on the season, 1st place in the 3A West.
Powell Lady Panthers fall to 2-2.
The Broncs and Panthers are now tied atop the 3A West Standings, each 3-2 on the season.
Cody Soccer is back in action, on the road, this weekend.
On Friday, they travel to Lander. Girls to play at 3pm, boys to follow.
On Saturday, they’re in Green River. Girls at 10am, boys to follow.
