Cody Volleyball, Cross Country Pick up Wins on Thursday

The Cody Volleyball and Cross Country teams were back in action Thursdday night.

Filly Volleyball would come away with a victory over Powell, winning the match 3 games to 1.

Cody would drop the first set, 17-25 but would rebound to win the next three: 25-20, 25-20, 25-20.

With the win the Fillies are now 16-3 on the season.

Up Next: Cody Volleyball is on the road for a pair of conference games at Casper Natrona and Rock Springs, October 1^st and 2^nd.

The Bronc and Filly Cross Country runners hosted their one and only event of the season on Thursday, the Cody Foxes and Hounds Invite.

It was a strong showing for both the teams with the Fillies finihsing in 1^st place, once again, while the Broncs would come in 3^rd place.

Five Fillies would finish in the top 10 with Ava Stafford leading the way, finishing in 1^st place, individually, with a time of 19:37. Taylen Stinson was 2^nd with a time of 19:48. Kinley Bollinger finished 4^th, Mekenzie Clark 7^th and Keira Jackson 8^th.

For the Broncs, David Juergens led the way finishing in 1^st individually with a time of 17:18. Charlie Hulbert was 3^rd with a time of 17:23.

Cody Cross Country will be back in action Thursday, September 30^th at Worland.
