Cold Front Could Freeze Plants

Even though it’s technically still summer, gardeners may want to protect their sensitive plants overnight tonight.
The National Weather Service says that the Big Horn Basin could see freezing temperatures tomorrow morning. A clearing sky behind the cold front that began blowing through yesterday, followed by a cool day today, will lead to a chilly night around the region. The normally cold low lying areas could see temperatures at or near freezing by sunrise Friday morning.
Forecasters warn that if anyone has sensitive outside plants or gardens, it might be a good idea to be prepared to cover them up tonight. Temperatures will be a couple degrees warmer Friday night but still down into the mid to upper 30s in the low lying areas.
