Commissioners Search for Adams’ Replacement
Written by Andrew-Rossi on April 24, 2018
The process to replace Big Horn County Attorney Kim Adams has advanced.
The Big Horn County Republican Committee interviewed three candidates to complete Adams’ term – her resignation takes effect June 1st, and there will be seven months’ remaining before a new attorney can be elected and take office.
The Greybull Standard reports that the Committee interviewed Marcia Bean, currently the deputy county attorney in Hot Springs County; Michelle Burns, a former Big Horn County attorney who is currently in private practice in Greybull; and Kim Mickelson, who has worked in the county attorney’s office twice and is currently the deputy county attorney, working under Adams.
All three candidates went through a second set of interviews with commissioners yesterday, which were open to the public.
