Condie Pleads Guilty

Gib Condie has agreed to plead guilty.
The 57 year old psychologist from Powell has struck a deal with federal prosecutors in a case of health care fraud, in which he was accused of falsely billing mental health services to Wyoming Medicaid.
Acting United States Attorney John R. Green says Condie had been indicted by a federal grand jury in May 2017 for an alleged scheme to defraud Medicaid. As part of a plea agreement with the U.S. Attorney’s office, Condie has agreed to serve 3 years in prison, pay approximately $2.28 million dollars in restitution to the Wyoming Department of Health and the United States Department of Health and Human Services, and forfeit certain assets traceable to the proceeds of his fraud.
Sentencing is scheduled for January 8, 2018, in Cheyenne.
