Construction Projects Will Impact Cody Next Summer

The Wyoming Department of Transportation is proposing to repair several major roads in and around Cody in the summer of 2020.
The department plans to repair the highway that runs through the community’s downtown business district, as well as a portion of Highway 120 just south of Cody. At last week’s Cody Club meeting, WYDOT spokesperson Cody Beers told Chamber members that the two projects will be happening simultaneously.
The two projects will have an impact on traffic traveling to and through Cody on the way to Yellowstone Park. Business owners have expressed concern about the effect the construction will have on tourism during the busy summer season.
