Donors Needed for New Park County Playground

Written by on September 7, 2021

S.B.W. & Associates and NextGen Park County are working together to give local kids another safe place to play – and they need your help to get there.

The accounting firm S.B.W. & Associates is working with the nonprofit NextGen Park County on a new community improvement project. Together, the two groups are “building a safe place to play.”

The result will be the East Sheridan Playground at the East Sheridan Softball Complex in Cody. Renderings of the proposed construction include two jungle gyms – one designed for younger children and one for older children – with several sides and other playground activities.

Fundraising has been tremendously successful so far. The two organizations have already raised nearly $100,000 for the new playground.

The fundraising goal is only $75,000 away. To reach the final number, both entities are asking for the generosity of Park County’s communities.

S.B.W. & Associates and NextGen Park County seek donations to raise the final amount needed for the new playground. Thanks to a grant allocated for the project, all donations will not only be matched but doubled,

All donors will receive a special thank you, along with a nameplate recognition. And, of course, they’ll have the perpetual gratitude of Park County’s children as they get another space to play.
