This afternoon, after over a week in court, singer Ed Sheeran was found not liable in a lawsuit filed against him in 2017, for alleged copyright infringement over his 2014 single “Thinking Out Loud.”
In a exclusive interview by People.com, Sheeran said, “I feel like the truth was heard and the truth was believed. It’s nice that we can both move on with our lives now.” Earlier in the week, during court, Sheeran stated that he would quit music completely, if he was found guilty. He also missed his grandmother’s funeral in Ireland, due to court.
Yesterday (May 3rd) Sheeran also dropped a four-part docuseries on Disney+ called “Sum Of It All” which gives his fans a look inside of his life. “Life is unpredictable. Plans can change really quickly,” says Sheeran in the trailer.
Ed Sheeran: The Sum of It All premiered globally on Disney+, on May 3.
