Emergency Siren Test Monday in Cody
Written by Andrew-Rossi on August 2, 2019
Cody residents are advised that emergency sirens will be going off at noon on Monday – but it’s only a test.
Park County Homeland Security Director Jack Tatum says it’s been a while since the sirens were tested, and they want to make sure everything is in working order in case a community emergency were to occur.
Tatum says there will be two alerts as they test both the primary and secondary activation systems. Anyone with questions is advised to contact the Park County Office of Homeland Security at 307-527-1860.
