Filly Basketball Sweeps the Weekend, Broncs Split the Action

The Cody Basketball teams would close out the first round of conference/quad play over the weekend as they played host to Casper Kelly Walsh and traveled to Rock Springs.
Friday night both teams would come away with a sweep over Kelly Walsh as the Fillies defeated the Lady Trojans by a final of 70-25 and the Broncs got a hard fought 51-47 win.
It was a fantastic night, Friday, at Sweitzer gym as both teams hosted the Post-Up 4 C-Web Fundraiser.

On Saturday, both teams hit the road as they traveled the 5 plus hours to Rock Springs.
The Fillies would again come away with the win, although it wasn’t an easy win, as the Lady Tigers gave the Fillies all they could handle. Cody would get the 58-31 win.
In the nightcap the Broncs just couldn’t muster up enough offense as the Tigers would cruise to the 56-28 win.

Following all the action the Fillies are now 10-0 on the season, 3-0 in conference play.
The Broncs are 4-6 overall, 1-2 in conference play.
Up Next: Both teams will travel to Powell, for a match-up with their Park County Rivals, on Friday. Girls at 5:30, boys to follow.
On Saturday, both teams play host to Natrona County for an afternoon matinee. Girls at 1pm, boys to follow.
