On Friday, the Fillies would down Rock Springs 12-3 to give them their 10th win of the season. On Saturday, the Fillies would explode for 24 runs in a demolition of Green River winning the game 24-1, to earn their 11th win of the season and have clinched the No. 2 seed out of the West for this weekend’s State Tournament.
The Fillies officially finish their first ever regular season with an 11-3 overall record.
Up Next: The Cody Fillies will be taking part in the first ever State Softball tournament in Wyoming history, this Thursday through Saturday, in Gillette. It’ll be an eight-team, double elimination tournament. The seeding was based on how the teams fared during the regular season.
