Filly Softball Takes Care of Lady Warriors

The Cody Fillies traveled to play the Lady Warriors for another fast pitch varsity softball game against each other.

The Fillies have beaten the Lady Warriors all three meetings they’ve clashed, and yesterday was no different as they took care of business winning the game in a defiant manner 17-3.

The Fillies had 12 hits and only struck out once. The 3rd and 4th inning is when they really got clicking scoring 15 runs in those two innings. Both of those innings resulted in the fillies going through the whole batting order then some.

Elle Ungrund had another impressive showing in the circle throwing eight strikeouts and only allowing five hits.

It was Kylie Fronk for the Lady Warriors who was responsible for the three runs with an inside-the-park home run to bring in all three runs in the 4th inning for Worland.

Ally Schroeder along with Ava Wollschlager reached base every time they approached the plate.

The Fillies are now 8-1 and will host what is a good Kelly Walsh team on Friday at 3PM.
