Fire Victim Identified

The victim of a fire that happened in the early morning hours after Thanksgiving in Cody has been identified by police.
Cody Police Lieutenant Jason Stafford says that Worland resident Brett Decker perished from smoke inhalation in the fire that started in a camper on his parents’ property on North Park Drive just after midnight on November 23rd.
Stafford says that their preliminary investigation points to the fact that Decker set the fire himself while in the camper, after threatening harm to himself and others. He says that fire investigators are still working on the case.
