Forward Cody Marks 10 Years

Wyoming is a great place to do business.
That’s the message from Forward Cody CEO James Klessens, who shed some light on what’s ahead in 2018 at last week’s Chamber of Commerce luncheon at the Cody Club Room.
The economic development organization, funded through grants and through donations from local businesses, is marking its tenth year in operation. Over the years, Forward Cody has been the contact point for businesses that have considered moving their operations here, thanks to the business friendly nature of the state.
At last week’s meeting, Klessens gave a brief review of some of the major projects they have assisted with this year, which included the Cody Labs expansion, as well as Wyoming Legacy Meats and Wyoming Authentic products – the only two USDA facilities in the state of Wyoming. Klessens points out all three of these businesses are home-grown – which fits securely into Forward Cody’s mission.
Klessens says that at their annual meeting on January 11 for members, they will be acknowledging the 24 businesses that have supported Forward Cody each year since the organization was founded 10 years ago.
