Four Cody School Board Candidate Forums in Cody and Wapiti this October
Written by Andrew-Rossi on October 3, 2022
Throughout October, there will be four candidate forums for the six candidates running for the Park County School District #6 Board of Trustees before the Nov. 3 general election.
Six candidates are vying for three open positions. Incumbents Brandi Nelson, Cathy Roes, and Karen Schipfmann-Nielson are all seeking an additional term on the board. Their challengers are Bob Berry, Billy Struemke, and Samantha Gbadamosi.
As part of the election cycle, the Cody Education Association (C.E.A.) reached out to all six candidates for the board. Each candidate was given five questions and asked to respond in 100 words or less.
Candidate forums are the best way for candidates to engage directly with the community and each other. Luckily, there will be multiple opportunities to hear and question the candidates before heading to the voting booth.
A candidate forum for the Park County School District #6 Board race will be held almost every Thursday until the general election.
