Last night was the 65th Annual Grammy Awards,  and as per usual many of the award winners were announced before the main broadcast.  Here’s who took home some awards.

Ozzy Osbourn took home two awards out of the four he was nominated for including Best Rock Album for Patient Number 9, and Best Metal Performance for the song “Degradation Blues,” featuring Black Sabaths Tony Lommi.  Unfortunately, due to health issues, Ozzy was not able to be at the ceremony to accept the awards.  but his producer Andrew Watt accepted on his behalf,  and relayed a message from the prince of darkness himself  ” I love you all and F*** off!”

Bonnie Raitt was also one of the biggest winners at the  Grammys.  Taking home three awards, including Song of the Year for “Just Like That.” was a huge win for Bonnie after beating out such popular artists like Beyonce, Harry Styles, and Adele.  She stated “I’m so surprised, I don’t know what to say. This is an unreal moment” she continued “I don’t write a lot of songs but I’m so proud that you appreciate this one,”.

Among the other winners, an orchestral version of Fleetwood Mac‘s “Songbird”  won Best Arrangement, Instruments, and Vocals.  Edgar Winter won Best Contemporary Blues Album for “Brother Johnny” a tribute to his brother, the legendary blues guitarist Johnny Winter.  Stewart Copeland of the Police won Best Immersive Audio Album for Divine Tides, and the creative team behind the Grateful Dead’s live album In and Out of the Garden: Madison Square Garden ’81 ’82 ’83 earned Best Box or Limited Edition Package.
