Gunderson Is Sixth Lady Warrior Swimmer To Qualify

Friday the Lady Warrior Swimmers and Divers were in Buffalo for the Buffalo Quad.

Sheridan, Newcastle, Buffalo, and Worland participated.

Saturday the Worland Girl’s Swimming and Diving team was in Worland for the Worland Invite.

Buffalo, Cody, Douglas, Newcastle, Powell, Riverton, Rawlins, and Worland were the teams competing.

Saturday was also Senior Night, Seniors DeEtte Hofmann and Aurora Pagani were honored at the meet.

Junior Elena Gunderson would add two events to her State Qualifying list, the 200 and 500 Freestyle making her the 6th girl to make it from the team.

Sophomores McKenna Burns added her 3rd event, the 100 Freestyle, and Shae Whitlock also added her 3rd event, the 100 Breaststroke.

Junior Maci Newell added her 4th event, the 500 Freestyle.

DeEtte Hofmann and Haley Kinghorn are the other two girls that have qualified for State.
