Gunwerks Celebrates New Building with Open House Event

Hunting is big business in Cody, Wyoming. Gunwerks, a renowned rifle manufacturer in town, works hard to make every hunt successful. They offer a wide range of products and services such as ready-to-ship rifle systems and advanced ballistics training. One of the company’s first patents was a ballistic turret designed to make long-range shots easier.

Gunwerks was the first company to offer a complete shooting system for commercial sale (this includes the rifle, scope, ballistics, and ammunition).

The company strives to be a leader in the world of long-range shooting. To stay ahead of the competition, innovation is paramount. “We will continue to introduce new products in the highly technical electro-optics produce space,” CEO Aaron Davidson explains. Electro-optics covers a wide range of distinct technologies that aid in target acquisition.

Gunwerks will host an open house on May 9th from 1p.m. to 6p.m. to celebrate the move into their new building, located at 201 Blackburn Street. The open house will include refreshments, facility tours, prize drawings, and guest speaker Cody Mayor Matt Hall at 5p.m.

Evident from their new location, Gunwerks is growing. Their rifle systems and rangefinders contribute significantly to overall revenue. Davidson is excited to show the public the company’s innovation and growth. “Our rifle system that we are introducing at the open house will demonstrate truly unique features,” Davidson says.

Gunwerks is actively looking for talented people to become new team members. “We’re always adding new positions,” Davidson says.

In what is already an impressive list of achievements, Gunwerks also develops one-of-a-kind training programs. As Davidson explains, “Our Long Range University training program was the first of its kind, and currently has the largest annual volume attendance of a LR hunting course in the world.”
