Gunwerks Donates Hunting Rifle For Wyoming Super Tag Raffle

The Cody-based rifle manufacturer Gunwerks is helping promote the Wyoming Super Tag Raffle by donating a custom-made firearm as a potential prize.
Wyoming Game and Fish is promoting a unique opportunity as part of its efforts to support conservation thru hunting. Throughout October, hunters can buy a ticket and enter a raffle within a raffle.
Only a few days remain for hunters to get a Super Tag raffle ticket in October. And for those buying their tickets, there’s a chance for an additional prize that might come in handy this hunting season.

In October, everyone who purchases a Super Tag or Super Tag Trifecta raffle ticket will be entered in a bonus raffle for a Gunwerks CLymR hunting rifle.
Gunwerks describes the ClymR Rifle System as the ultimate mountain hunting rifle, with a design” perfected to balance lightweight and long-range shooting capability” The base model – no-frills – retails on the company’s website for over $8,500.
The winner of the October raffle will receive a Gunwerks ClymR rifle with the following specifications:
- Ultra-Light Carbon Fiber Composite (Basic Fiberglass Option)
- Flush-Mount Bipod Rail
- Gunwerks Recoil Pad
- Spacer System for LOP Adjustments
- Integrated Flush Cup QD Sling Mounts
- Aluminum Bedding Block
- Min. Stock Weight: 1.85 lbs. – Max Stock Weight: 2.35 lbs.
The winner will also get to personalize their prize. For example, they can ensure the rifle has their preference for right or left hand, caliber, stock pattern, and metal finish.

The 2020 Super Tag Raffle sold 102,495 tickets, raising $1.3 million for wildlife conservation.2021’s Super Tag was even bigger – over 111,600 tickets sold, raising over $1.4 million.
Created by Gov. Matt Mead and the Wyoming Legislature in 2013, the Super Tag raffle provides hunters opportunities and raises money for wildlife management in Wyoming. Since then, the program has raised more than $7.6 million, allocated for priority wildlife conservation projects in the state.
The deadline to purchase a ticket for the 2022 Wyoming Super Tag Raffle is July 1, 2022. Tickets can be purchased on the Wyoming Game and Fish website.

- Super Tag Trifecta (one winner chooses from any three species offered) – $30
In order to enter the Gunwerks rifle raffle, tickets much be purchased by Oct. 31. All buyers are automatically entered.
