Highway Construction to Begin Monday

Written by on September 21, 2018

A $2.95 million pavement improvement project is scheduled to begin next week north of Cody on Wyoming Highway 120.
The project on the Belfry highway begins at the end of the concrete highway section on the north edge of Cody and extends almost eight miles to the top of Skull Creek Hill.
Drivers can expect delays of up to 20 minutes during construction, in which traffic will be controlled with flaggers and a pilot vehicle Mondays through Saturdays until the project is complete. Wyoming Department of Transportation resident engineer Todd Frost of Cody says work consists of shoulder flattening and pavement leveling, with chip sealing to be completed next June.
