A meeting in Cody tomorrow will address future highway improvement projects in northwest Wyoming.
According to officials with the Wyoming Department of Transportation, a key part of the State Transportation Improvement Program, or STIP process, involves annual meetings with public officials and other individuals who play key transportation partnership roles in Wyoming. The STIP is a prioritized construction plan for the 1,326 miles of highway in northwest Wyoming.
The meeting in Cody will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Park County Courthouse in the County Commissioners Chambers.
Wyoming Department of Transportation District Engineer Pete Hallsten of Basin says these meetings provide an opportunity for local officials and citizens to provide input into WYDOT’s planning process and to maintain and improve partnerships with counties, and cities and towns.
