Hospitality and Tourism Fall Advocacy Summit this Thursday
Written by Andrew-Rossi on November 11, 2019
The WY Travel Industry Coalition and the WY Lodging and Restaurant Association are meeting in Cody for the Hospitality and Tourism Fall Advocacy Summit this Thursday.
Both participating organizations work hard to promote the continued success of Wyoming’s second largest industry. This meeting will focus on fostering advocacy for tourism and the businesses that benefit from it.
Presentations will also be given on the formation of tourism improvement districts, stable sources of funding for marketing efforts designed to increase occupancy and room rates for lodging businesses. The WY Travel Industry Coalition is working to get more tourism improvement districts created across the state. Each district will be designed by the business owners who participate in it so the needs of their community can be met.
The meeting will take place at the Holiday Inn on November 14th. Registration is required – this link will take you to the WY Travel Industry Coalition’s website and shows a full breakdown of the events:
