Get into the holiday spirit with the Northwest Civic Orchestra this Saturday.
The Northwest Civic Orchestra will be performing “It’s a Wyoming Wonderland” as part of Powell’s Country Christmas festivities by performing a varied blend of music Saturday, December 7th. The theme of the concert is “Ding-a-Long,” in which the audience is encouraged to participate in three different takes on the classic Christmas tune “Sleigh Ride.” No need to bring your own noisemakers; jingle bells will be provided.
The night will include music from several winter and Christmas themed films – Polar Express, the Nutcracker, a melody of music from Frozen, and a few Wyoming carols in the mix as well. Its open to and encouraged for the whole family.
“It’s A Wyoming Wonderland” gets underway at 7 pm this Saturday at the Nelson Performing Arts Auditorium on the Northwest College Campus. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for seniors. All kids are free.
