Jimmie Allen and Wife Announce Divorce

People who are fans of country music know that Jimmie Allen is making a splash in the genre.
On another note, he has announced via social media that he and his wife, Alexis, are splitting up. In the same message, he stated that they are also expecting their third child later this year.
The couple got married in the thick of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. Allen stated in an interview with People, “I wanted to be a dad and do music, that’s it. I never wanted to get married. The whole husband thing was not something I ever wanted to do. But Alexis changed that. Now, I like it.”
Jimmie Allen at one point had the top song in the country as “Big Shot” reached number one on the country music charts back in 2018. He is also the 2nd black artist to win the “New Artist of the Year” award.
