Kanye West In Talks to Purchase Monster Lake

Rapper Kanye West was in Cody this week, and could soon make this small town in Wyoming his family’s home.
West yesterday was visiting local schools, and was seen meeting with realtors in a Cody restaurant. According to reports on TMZ, the New York Post, and Forbes magazine, West has purchased the Monster Lake Ranch 15 miles south of Cody – but there has been no confirmation that the purchase has been finalized.
West and his wife, Kim Kardashian, have both expressed an interest in purchasing property in Wyoming. In a September 2nd interview for Vogue Arabia, Kardashian was quoted as saying that in ten years, she saw the family living in Wyoming, occasionally going to Palm Springs and their home in Los Angeles.
West and his family are not strangers to Wyoming – he recorded his 2018 album “Ye” in Jackson Hole.
In June of this year, Forbes magazine estimated Kanye West’s net worth to be about $240 million dollars.
