Kelly Pickler’s Husband Commits Suicide At 49

Kellie Pickler’s husband, Kyle Jacobs. was found dead of an apparent suicide at their home in Nashville this afternoon. Jacobs, a songwriter/producer, was 49.
Jacobs died of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound in their home.
Pickler, a Country artist and midday host of SiriusXM’s The Highway channel, reportedly with her personal assistant, was looking for Jacobs in the morning after she awakened. When they weren’t able to open a door to the bedroom, her personal assistant called 911.
Jacobs helped write Garth Brooks’ hit “More Than A Memory” as well as songs for Eli Young, Tim McGraw, Kelly Clarkson, Scotty McCreery, Darius Rucker and Kimberly Locke. He produced four number one singles for Lee Brice including “Rumor,” which Jacobs also help co-write.
Jacobs and Pickler eloped in 2011 and starred in the CMT reality show about their relationship, “I Love Kellie Pickler.”
