KODI Sports Broadcast Schedule for Jan. 3rd through 7th

As we hit the New Year, the majority of Cody’s Winter sports teams will be in action this week.

Let’s start off with a look at the live sports that will be broadcast on KODI.

The Cody Fillies basketball team return to action on Tuesday, January 3rd, as they play host to their Park County Rivals, Powell. That game is a make-up for their postponement before the holiday break. The contest will tip-off at 7pm with pregame at 6:40.

Both Cody Basketball teams will be back in action on Thursday, January 5th, when they play host to Worland. Girls to tip-off at 5:30 with the boys to follow.

On Friday the 6th, both teams travel to Lovell. Girls again at 5:30 with the boys to follow.

The rest of the Cody Sports in action are as follows:

The Cody Wrestling team will trek up North to the Treasure State as they take part in the Bozeman Invitational Friday and Saturday.

The Cody Bronc Swim team returns to action as they have a couple of local mets. They host their Cody Quad on Friday and take part in Powell’s Dozah Invite on Saturday.

The Cody Alpine Ski teams make their season debut this weekend as they are in Laramie. Slalom race on Friday, Giant Slalom on Saturday.

The Cody Nordic Ski teams will be in Casper for a pair of races. On Friday, it’s the Casper 5K Skate. On Saturday it’s the Casper Classic.

The Yellowstone Quake Hockey Team will open the New Year on the road this weekend as they trek over the mountain to Sheridan, to face the Hawks. Both contests, Friday and Saturday, will get underway at 7:30pm.

Over in the College Ranks….

The Northwest College Basketball teams return to action this coming weekend as they both take to the road. Both teams will be in Glendive, Mont., on Friday to take on Dawson Community College. Women tip-off at 2pm with the men to follow. On Saturday, both teams travel to Bismark, ND., to take on the United Tribes Technical College. Women at 12 noon, men to follow.

Both the Wyoming Men’s and Women’s basketball teams will be back in action this week, each with a single contest.

The Cowgirls will play host to the University of New Mexico on Thursday with tip-off at 6:30pm.

The Cowboys host San Diego State University on Saturday with tip-off at 2pm. The Pokes Saturday game will be broadcast live on KOD with pregame at 1:30.
