KODI Sports Schedule for the Week of December 5th-10th

The Winter Sports Season officially kicks off this week as the majority of Cody High School sports teams will be in action for the fist time this season. Today, a look at the KODI Broadcast and sports schedule for Cody and area teams.

The Cody Broncs and Fillies Basketball teams will tip-off their season at the Re-Max Early Bird Basketball tournament in Gillette Thursday through Saturday.

Each game will be a double header.

Cody Basketball opens their season on Thursday vs. Thunder Basin. The girls are set for a 6pm tip-off with the boys to follow. Pregame will hit the airwaves at 5:40 and you can listen live on KODI.

Both teams will be back in action on Friday as they will then match-up with Campbell County. Girls get underway at 6pm, once again, with the boys to follow. Again, pregame heads your way at 5:40 live on KODI.

On Saturday, both teams will square off against Buffalo, out of the 3A ranks. The girls will tip-off at 1:30pm with the boys to follow. Pregame at 1:10, live on KODI.

The Cody Wrestling team will open their season as well this weekend. The Bronc Grapplers are scheduled to take part in the Powell invite on Friday and Saturday.

The Cody Bronc Swim team will hit the pool this weekend for their first meet of the season. On Friday, they’ll be in Powell for the Powell Quad. On Saturday, the Broncs will play host to their Cody Invite.

The Cody Nordic Ski teams get things underway as well this coming weekend as they’ll be in Laramie December 9th and 10th. The Mixed Skate Relay is Friday with the 5K Classic, Saturday.

The Yellowstone Quake Hockey team is off this week before returning to action the following week. The Quake will be on the road, December 18th through the 20th taking part in the NA3HL Showcase.

Over in the College ranks…

The Northwest College Basketball teams are back in action this coming weekend as they’ll be in Scottsbluff Nebraska for the Western Nebraka Community College Classic. Both teams will take part in a pair of contests. Friday’s double header begins at 5pm, Saturday’s action starts at 10am.

The Wyoming Cowgirl basketball team is back in action tonight as they host the New Mexico Highlands. Tip-off scheduled for 6:30pm with pre-game at 6pm. Listen live on KODI.
